These aren't your average pistons; they're forged from 2618 aluminum and packed with features typically found only in custom applications, all designed to handle the extreme pressures of serious power adder builds.

JE Pistons uses their proprietary Aligned Grain Flow forging process, which creates pistons with exceptional tensile strength, crucial for withstanding the intense cylinder pressures of boosted engines. The thermal barrier crown coating helps reflect heat back into the combustion chamber, keeping piston crown temperatures down and improving exhaust gas scavenging. You also get lateral gas ports to help maintain a solid ring seal even at high RPMs and under significant boost. The included high-strength wrist pins, made by Trend Performance, are built tough for high-performance use, and the skirt coating reduces friction and wear on both the piston skirts and cylinder walls, also contributing to quieter operation, especially during cold starts.
