Starting with JE Pistons' proprietary Aligned Grain Flow forging technology, these Ultra Series pistons are built to handle the extreme cylinder pressures found in high-boost engine builds. This advanced forging process maximizes tensile strength, giving you a solid foundation for your Mitsubishi EVO 7-9 4G63 engine.

Beyond the core forging, these pistons come equipped with features typically found only in custom applications. The thermal barrier crown coating reflects heat back into the combustion chamber, helping to reduce piston crown temperatures and improve exhaust gas scavenging. A skirt coating is applied to reduce friction and wear on both the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which also helps to quiet down operating noise, especially during a cold start. Lateral gas ports are included to help maintain a strong ring seal even at high RPM and under significant boost, ensuring consistent power delivery. The included Trend Performance wrist pins are thick-walled and built for the demands of high-horsepower engines.

This set includes four pistons, each with an 85mm bore and a 10.0:1 compression ratio, designed specifically for the 4G63 engine found in the Mitsubishi EVO 7 through 9 models.
