JE Pistons VW 2.0T FSI 83.5 KIT Set of 4 Pistons

This is a set of four JE Pistons 302348 forged pistons designed specifically for the VW 2.0T FSI engine found in 2004-2008 models. You get the pistons themselves, along with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, all made in the USA. These pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum, a material known for its high tensile strength, making them well-suited for demanding performance applications where durability is key.

JE Pistons uses their proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design also saves weight by using a shorter wrist pin. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, which can improve ring flutter and enhance ring seal for more consistent power delivery. Some applications also include a skirt coating that further reduces friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also contributing to quieter operation.

These pistons are designed with an inverted dome/dish shape and have a bore size of 3.287 inches (83.5mm). The compression ratio is listed at 9.50:1. It's important to note that this kit is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
