These pistons are engineered specifically for your engine and its intended use, aiming for the best balance of durability and performance. They are manufactured 100% in the USA, carrying on JE Pistons' 75 years of experience in creating forged racing pistons.

This set features JE Pistons' proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. This design, along with a shorter wrist pin, also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, you might find an accumulator groove designed to reduce pressure from combustion gases, which helps prevent ring flutter and improves ring seal for consistent power delivery. Some applications also include a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, while also helping to quiet down operating noise.
