If you're rebuilding the heart of your 1995-1999 Volkswagen Jetta, especially for high-demand performance, these pistons are built to handle it. They're forged and machined entirely in the USA using 2618 aluminum, which gives them the high tensile strength needed for demanding applications.

This set includes six pistons, each with a 3.228-inch bore. JE Pistons uses a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design that helps reduce friction and power loss by using a narrower skirt and a shorter wrist pin, saving weight in the process. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and keeping power consistent. Some applications also feature a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also lead to quieter operation.

This kit comes complete with high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings, so you have the essential components ready for installation.
