They are built from 2618 aluminum, a strong material chosen for its high tensile strength, which is crucial for high-demand performance applications.

JE Pistons brings over 75 years of experience to these forged pistons, which are engineered, forged, and machined entirely in the USA. They incorporate a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design that helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, also saving weight. Depending on the specific application, these pistons may also feature an accumulator groove to reduce pressure from combustion gases, which helps prevent ring flutter and improves ring seal for more consistent power.
