JE Pistons VW 9A 16V KIT 11.5:1 - Single Piston

Forged from 2618 aluminum, these JE Pistons are built for high tensile strength, making them a solid choice for performance-oriented VW 2.0L 9A 16V engines. This single piston is designed with an 11.5:1 compression ratio and a 3.287-inch bore, aiming for optimized performance and durability specific to this engine application.

JE Pistons incorporates a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps minimize friction and power loss by reducing skirt width. Some applications also feature a skirt coating to further cut down on friction and wear, while also reducing operating noise. An accumulator groove is included in certain designs to help manage combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal for consistent power delivery.
