JE Pistons VW R32 24V 84.5M KIT Set of 6 Pistons

If you're rebuilding the top end of your VR6 24V engine for serious performance, these pistons are built to handle the stress. They are forged and machined right here in the USA using 2618 aluminum, which gives them the strong tensile strength needed for high-demand applications.

This kit includes six pistons, each featuring JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This design helps minimize friction and power loss by using a reduced skirt width and a shorter wrist pin, which also saves weight. Depending on the specific application, you might also find an accumulator groove to help manage combustion gas pressure, leading to better ring seal and consistent power. Some applications also include a skirt coating to further reduce friction and wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls, which can also help quiet down engine noise.
