JE Pistons VW VR6 24V 81.5M KIT Set of 6 Pistons

If you're rebuilding the engine in your 2002-2005 Volkswagen Golf or Jetta with the 2.8L VR6 24V engine, this set of six forged pistons from JE Pistons is built for serious performance. JE Pistons has been making high-performance forged pistons for over 75 years, and these are engineered specifically for your engine to give you the best combination of durability and power.

These pistons are forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, a strong material that can handle the demands of high-performance applications. They feature JE's proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design, which helps reduce friction and weight by using a shorter wrist pin and narrower skirt. Depending on the specific application, they may also include an accumulator groove to help reduce combustion gas pressure, improving ring seal and preventing flutter. Some applications also get a skirt coating to further reduce friction and noise while minimizing wear on the piston skirts and cylinder walls.

This kit comes complete with everything you need to get your engine back together: the six pistons, high-quality wrist pins, locks, and JE Pro Seal premium piston rings. Please note that this kit is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
