Part 17239.01 is a 12 volt electronic distributor for listed 1941-1971 Willys and Jeep models with the 134 cubic inch L-head and F-head engine. It is a replacement unit that looks like the OE distributor.
The distributor uses solid-state electronic internals and includes the module, installation instructions, and OE 923068 replacement. It also has an important wiring note: use it with an internally resisted coil 17247.02 or with an external resistor between the coil and distributor.
