This K&N 57-3030-1 performance intake kit is built for 2001-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and 3500, and GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 models with the V8-8.1L engine, as well as the 2007 Classic versions. It's designed to help your engine breathe better, which can lead to a noticeable improvement in power. This system replaces your restrictive factory airbox with a more efficient setup that allows for increased airflow.

The intake tube is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using a rotational molding process, which helps increase the volume of air reaching your engine. K&N guarantees this kit will increase horsepower and torque. It comes with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter that uses oiled cotton media. The oversized, conical shape of the filter means you can often go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield is included to help block hot air from the engine bay from entering the intake stream, ensuring cooler air goes into your engine for better performance. Most installations can be completed in under an hour.
