The rotationally-molded tube on this K&N intake system is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a material chosen to help increase the volume of air flowing into your engine. This kit includes K&N's washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter. Its oiled cotton media is oversized and conical, allowing it to capture fine particles while letting plenty of air through.
