K&N HP-1008 is a Wrench-Off automotive oil filter. It uses pleated synthetic-blend filtration media built to help protect the engine from contaminants while keeping oil flow consistent.
The mechanic-friendly detail is the welded 1 inch hex nut on the canister for removal with a standard wrench. It also has a heavy-duty canister, compatibility with synthetic, conventional, and blended motor oils, and an anti-drainback valve where applicable.
