This K&N Typhoon Short Ram Intake system is built for your 2006-2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT with the 3.8L V6 engine. You get a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, a washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter with oiled cotton media, and a custom heat shield designed to keep engine bay heat away from the intake air. K&N guarantees this system will increase horsepower and torque.
The oversized, conical air filter is designed to go up to 100,000 miles between servicing under normal highway driving conditions. The aluminum intake tube is constructed using a mandrel-bent process, which helps maintain a consistent diameter throughout the tube for smoother airflow.
