The rotationally-molded, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube in this K&N intake kit is shaped to help increase the volume of air flowing into your 2006 Ford F-150's V8-4.6L engine. This improved airflow is designed to result in a noticeable increase in both horsepower and torque. The system includes a washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter, which uses oiled cotton media.
