This K&N performance intake system starts with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube, rotationally molded to help increase the volume of air reaching your engine. This design is intended to give you a noticeable increase in both horsepower and torque.
The system includes K&N's washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter, which uses oiled cotton media. Its large, conical shape means you can go up to 100,000 miles between servicing the filter under normal highway driving. A custom heat shield is also part of the kit, working to keep the intake air away from the engine bay's heat.
