The rotationally-molded tube on this K&N intake is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a material chosen to help increase the volume of air going into your engine. This improved airflow is designed to give you a noticeable increase in both horsepower and torque. It's paired with K&N's well-known washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter, which uses oiled cotton media for excellent filtration.
