This is the K&N 57-0690 performance air intake system, specifically made for the 2014-2017 Ford Fiesta ST 1.6L models sold outside the US. This system is designed to help your engine breathe easier by replacing the restrictive factory airbox with a more efficient setup. It's built to increase airflow, which the manufacturer guarantees will result in more horsepower and torque.

The intake tube is made from high-density polyethylene using a rotational molding process, which helps increase the volume of air entering your engine. It's paired with K&N's well-known washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter. This oversized, conical filter uses oiled cotton media and is designed to go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving. A custom heat shield is included to block hot air from the engine bay, ensuring your engine gets cooler, denser air for better performance. Installation is typically straightforward and can often be completed in under an hour.
