This K&N NextGen DryFlow cold air intake system includes the intake tube, DryFlow air filter, and custom air box. It's designed to fit a range of V8 trucks and SUVs, including the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, Chevrolet Tahoe, and GMC Yukon. This system aims to improve how your engine breathes by increasing the volume of airflow going into it.
The high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube is rotationally molded to help increase airflow by up to 30% more CFM compared to stock. K&N claims this can result in an increase of about 14.9 horsepower and 9.5 torque, and it can typically be installed in under an hour. The included DryFlow air filter is washable and reusable, made with an oil-free synthetic media. K&N states you can go up to 50,000 miles between servicing the filter under normal highway driving, and cleaning it involves a simple two-step process without needing oil.
