The rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube in this K&N AirCharger intake is designed to help increase the volume of air flowing into your engine. This improved airflow is what helps deliver a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque for your 2015-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or 3500 HD, or its GMC Sierra counterpart.
This system comes with K&N's washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter, which uses oiled cotton media. Its large, conical shape means you can go up to 100,000 miles between servicing the filter under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield is included to help keep the intake air away from the engine bay's heat, which is crucial for maintaining cooler, denser air. Most installations can be completed in under an hour.
