It's designed to increase the volume of airflow to your 2016-2018 Nissan TITAN XD's V8-5.0L diesel engine, which the manufacturer guarantees will result in more horsepower and torque.

The oversized, conical air filter is built to last up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions, meaning less frequent maintenance. The custom heat shield works to block hot air from the engine bay from entering the intake, helping to ensure cooler, denser air reaches the engine for better performance.
