This K&N performance intake kit includes a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube, a washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter with oiled cotton media, and a custom heat shield. It's designed to increase the volume of airflow to your engine, which the manufacturer guarantees will result in more horsepower and torque. The oversized, conical filter is built to last, allowing for service intervals of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions.
The custom heat shield included in this kit helps block hot air from the engine bay, ensuring that cooler, denser air enters the intake. This cooler air is more efficient for combustion.
