This K&N 69 Series Typhoon cold air intake system is made for your 2012-2014 Chrysler 200 or Dodge Avenger with the 2.4L engine. It's designed to replace your restrictive factory air box and intake tubing with a smoother, freer-flowing setup. By allowing your engine to breathe more easily, this system helps increase horsepower and torque, giving you a more responsive feel when you accelerate.

The intake tube itself is made from mandrel-bent aluminum, which means it has a consistent diameter throughout its length for optimal airflow. It comes with K&N's washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter, which uses oiled cotton media to capture dirt while letting air pass through easily. This oversized, conical filter can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal driving conditions. A custom heat shield is included to help keep hot air from the engine bay away from the intake, ensuring cooler air enters the engine for better performance. Installation is typically straightforward and can be done in under 90 minutes.
