This K&N 57-9012 performance air intake system is built for your 1995-1999 Toyota Tacoma with the L4-2.4L or 2.7L engine. It's designed to help your engine breathe easier by replacing the restrictive factory airbox with a more efficient setup. By increasing the volume of air that can enter the engine, you can expect an improved throttle response and a noticeable boost in both horsepower and torque.

The system features a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube, which is rotationally molded to help maximize airflow. It's paired with K&N's well-known washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter. This oversized, conical filter uses oiled cotton media and is designed to go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield is included to help block hot air from the engine bay, ensuring cooler air enters the intake. Installation is typically straightforward and can often be completed in under an hour.
