This K&N performance intake system starts with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube, rotationally molded to help increase the volume of air flowing into your engine. This design is guaranteed to give you a noticeable increase in both horsepower and torque over your stock setup.
Paired with the tube is K&N's well-known washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter. Its oiled cotton media and oversized conical shape are designed to let you go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving. A custom heat shield is included to help keep the intake air away from the hot engine bay, ensuring cooler, denser air makes its way to your V6-4.3L engine. The entire system is designed to fit right and can typically be installed in under an hour.
