The rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube in this K&N intake kit is designed to help increase the volume of air going into your engine. This improved airflow is what helps deliver a noticeable increase in both horsepower and torque for your 1998-2001 Ford Ranger or Mazda B3000 with the 3.0L V6 engine.
This system comes with K&N's washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter, which uses oiled cotton filter media. Its oversized, conical shape is built to last, allowing you to go up to 100,000 miles between servicing the filter under normal highway driving conditions.
