This filter is washable and reusable. Clean and re-oil it per K&N's instructions to maintain optimal performance. This will also extend the life of the filter.

What is the flange made of?

The flange is made of pliable rubber. This allows it to absorb vibration and create a secure seal on a variety of intake tubes. It can also stretch slightly to accommodate in-between sizes.

No, this filter is not CARB-approved. It cannot be sold or installed on emissions-controlled vehicles in California.
