The rotationally-molded tube on this K&N FIPK cold air intake is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a material chosen to help increase the volume of air flowing into your V8-5.3L engine. This improved airflow is designed to give you a noticeable boost in both horsepower and torque, making your 2003-2004 Chevrolet SSR feel more responsive.

This system includes K&N's washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter, which uses oiled cotton media. Its large, conical shape is built to last, allowing for service intervals of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving.
