Product Details
This is the K&N KN-138C oil filter, a well-built unit designed for a wide range of powersports vehicles. It uses a modern synthetic filter media that's engineered to allow for excellent oil flow while reducing pressure drop, all while making sure your engine gets clean oil. This filter is approved for racing use by MotoAmerica and the AMA, so you know it can handle demanding conditions.
The canister itself is chrome-plated for a solid look and durability. Most of these filters come with a handy 17mm nut on the end, which makes removal much easier than struggling with a filter wrench. For racers, that nut is also cross-drilled, allowing you to safety wire the filter to the bike, which is a common requirement in competition to prevent it from coming loose.
