Cleaning depends on your driving conditions, but K&N recommends inspecting the filter every 25,000 to 50,000 miles. Off-road conditions will require more frequent cleaning. Use K&N filter cleaner and oil to maintain the filter's performance.

The internal flange diameter is 3.5 inches. The rubber flange can stretch slightly — up to 1/16 of an inch (1.5mm) — to fit in-between sizes.
