How often should I clean this filter?

The cleaning interval depends on your driving conditions. K&N recommends cleaning and re-oiling the filter when you notice a buildup of dirt or debris, or every 50,000 miles under normal highway conditions. Off-road use requires more frequent cleaning.

What is the flange size of this filter?

This filter has a 5-inch flange. The ultra-strong molded rubber is designed to stretch up to 1/16 of an inch (1.5mm) to fit in-between sizes.

Is this filter legal for street use?

This filter is not CARB-approved, so it is not legal for street use in California and other states with similar emissions standards. Check your local regulations before installing.
