How often should I clean my K&N air filter?

The cleaning interval depends on your driving conditions. In normal conditions, clean the filter every 50,000 miles. Clean it more often if you drive in dusty or off-road conditions.

What do I use to clean my K&N air filter?

K&N sells a Recharger kit that includes both the cleaner and the oil. The cleaner is formulated to dissolve the dirt and grime without damaging the filter material. The oil restores the filter's ability to trap dirt and debris.

Does this filter come pre-oiled?

Yes, this K&N air filter comes pre-oiled and ready to install. You only need to oil it after cleaning. Be sure to follow the instructions and don't over-oil, as this can damage your mass airflow sensor.
