K&N Reverse Conical Universal Filter

A unique approach to filter design and concept. With a filtering top that actually inverts, dropping into the cylinder of the filter. Surface area is greatly increased providing more filtration and air flow. K&N's Universal Air Filters are designed and manufactured for a wide variety of applications including racing vehicles, radio-controlled cars, generators, snowmobiles, tractors, and other applications. Regardless of the angle or offset diameter of the air intake, there is probably a K&N Universal air filter for your equipment. All filters are constructed with ultra-strong molded pliable rubber flanges which absorb vibration and allow for secure attachment and can also be stretched for up to 1/16" (1.5mm) to fit in-between sizes. K&N universal air filters are washable and reusable. These filters are designed to fit applications where a conventional air filter won't--like in aftermarket air cleaners or in custom-made air filter systems. They're available in a variety of shapes and sizes and outflow any other filter on the market--up to 900 cfm--for power gains of up to 15 HP. They use a special surgical cotton fabric soaked in oil as a tack barrier. Sandwiched between aluminum screen wire, the square holes in the cotton catch tumbling air and straighten it out. Since air moving in a straight line flows faster, these filters can actually improve airflow. They come pre-oiled and ready to install.
