KW 04-05 Porsche Carrera GT Special Edition V5 Coilover Kit W/ Red & Blue Springs

This is the KW V5 Special Edition coilover kit, specifically made for the 2004-2005 Porsche Carrera GT. It brings successful motorsport suspension technology directly to your super sports car, focusing on precise and fast damping that reacts without delay. Whether you're dealing with small spring travel, minor steering adjustments, or slight road imperfections, the shock absorbers and valves in this kit respond instantly. This means every input from braking, acceleration, steering, and load changes is managed with much greater accuracy.

The V5 kit uses KW's Solid Piston Technology, which offers more platform support to the chassis compared to conventional dampers. This can allow for the use of lower spring rates, depending on the vehicle body, while still providing excellent control. The standout feature is the independent adjustability of both low- and high-speed compression and rebound damping. With 13 distinct clicks for each (resulting in 14 characteristic curves), you can fine-tune the damping to achieve a truly harmonious feel. This advanced system is designed to be cavitation-free, offering precise high-frequency damping and operating within a low-pressure gas range of 6 to 10 bar, all with minimal hysteresis. The kit also allows for maximum or individual lowering within its tested adjustment range, using a dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and polyamide threaded ring that make height adjustments quick and easy, even after years of use.

Each KW V5 coilover is hand-built in Germany and individually serial-numbered. Before shipping, every damper is dyno-tested to ensure accuracy and preset to KW's recommended settings, giving you confidence in its performance right out of the box. The kit includes red and blue springs, adding a unique visual touch to your Carrera GT's performance setup.
