This KW V5 coilover kit includes all four dampers, application-specific springs, and necessary hardware for installation on your 2017-2023 Audi R8 (4S) Coupe or Spyder, excluding models with Magnetic Ride. This kit brings genuine motorsport suspension technology directly to your street car, focusing on KW's successful Solid Piston Technology and a modular design where damper valves are connected in series. This setup ensures that the damping reacts precisely and without delay, even to the smallest inputs like minor steering adjustments or road imperfections. It's designed to handle every driving maneuver, from braking and acceleration to load changes, with significantly improved precision.

The KW V5 utilizes Solid Piston dampers that offer more platform support to the chassis compared to conventional dampers. This allows for the use of lower spring rates while still maintaining excellent control. The kit features adjustable KW SPCLH-A compression damping and KW SPRLH-A rebound damping. You get 13 distinct clicks for adjustment in both the low- and high-speed ranges for compression and rebound, offering 14 unique characteristic curves. This advanced adjustability allows for a new level of harmonious damping, providing a sensitive response, cavitation-free function, and precise high-frequency damping. The system operates with low-pressure gas ranging from 6 to 10 bar, ensuring consistent performance.

With the KW V5, you can achieve a maximum or individual lowering within the tested adjustment range. The continuous lowering is easily and quickly adjustable, even after years of use, thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and polyamide threaded ring. Each damper is hand-built and individually tested on a dynamometer at KW's headquarters in Fichtenberg, Germany, ensuring accuracy and preset shock settings before delivery. This kit is road-legal and offers application-specific spring and damper tuning for exceptional street performance.
