KW 90-05 Acura NSX (NA1) V5 Coilover Kit

The KW V5 coilover suspension uses a solid piston design with damper valves connected in series, a technology proven in motorsports. This setup allows for very precise and fast damping adjustments that react instantly to even small inputs. Whether you're braking, accelerating, steering, or dealing with minor road imperfections, the V5 system damps them much more accurately. The solid piston dampers offer increased platform support for the chassis, which can allow for the use of softer spring rates depending on the vehicle's body. This means you can achieve a more controlled ride without sacrificing responsiveness.

With the KW V5, you get independent adjustment for both low- and high-speed compression and rebound damping. This is handled by the KW SPCLH-A (Solid Piston Compression Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) and KW SPRLH-A (Solid Piston Rebound Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) systems. You have 13 distinct clicks for each adjustment range, offering 14 different characteristic curves. This level of control allows for a truly harmonious damping setup tailored to your driving style and the NSX's capabilities. The system is designed to be cavitation-free, ensuring consistent performance, and operates with low gas pressure ranging from 6 to 10 bar. The continuous lowering feature, using a dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and polyamide threaded ring, makes adjusting ride height simple and durable, even after years of use.

Each KW V5 coilover kit is hand-built at KW's headquarters in Fichtenberg, Germany, and receives a unique serial number. Every damper is individually dyno-tested to ensure accuracy and preset to recommended settings before shipping.
