The KW V5 Clubsport coilover suspension uses KW Solid Piston Technology, a design borrowed directly from motorsport, featuring damper valves connected in series. This setup ensures that the shock absorbers and valves react instantly, even with very small movements of the suspension or steering. Every input, from braking and acceleration to load changes and road imperfections, is managed with exceptional precision. The solid piston design offers more platform support for the chassis compared to conventional dampers, which can allow for the use of softer spring rates depending on the vehicle. This kit is designed for a range of Mercedes-Benz AMG GT models, including the Coupe and Roadster variants like the GT S, GT C, and GT C Edition 50.

With 4-way adjustable damping, the KW V5 Clubsport offers independent adjustment of both low- and high-speed compression and rebound. This is achieved through the SPCLH-A (Compression) and SPRLH-A (Rebound) systems, which use adjustable conical needles for low-speed adjustments and additional channels that open for maximum fluid displacement at high speeds. This advanced valve system provides more sensitive damping, works without cavitation, and offers precise high-frequency damping with a low-pressure gas range. The ability to adjust compression and rebound damping across 13 distinct clicks (14 characteristic curves) in both low- and high-speed ranges gives you the freedom to fine-tune the suspension to your specific needs. The coilovers also feature purple anodized aluminum uniball top mounts for increased steering precision and a dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread with a polyamide ring for easy, continuous ride height adjustment within the tested range.

Each KW V5 Clubsport coilover is meticulously hand-built in Fichtenberg, Germany, and receives a unique serial number. Before shipping, every damper is dyno-tested to ensure accuracy and preset to recommended settings. The kit includes composite spring perches made from wear-resistant, friction-optimized polyamide with a stainless-steel insert, preventing oxidation and maximizing strength. Elastomer bump stops with integrated dust protection are also included to prevent contaminants from reaching the piston rod and seals, while also acting as dynamic load limiters to maintain ride quality and durability.
