KW Coilover Kit DDC ECU BMW 1-Series Convertible

This KW DDC ECU coilover kit includes KW INOX-LINE stainless steel struts with electronically adjustable dampers, a high-performance electronic damper control unit with a vehicle-specific cable set, and a KW DDC control button. You also get elastomer bump stops with integrated dust protection and composite spring perches. The kit is designed for easy installation with elaborate assembly instructions.

These coilovers offer intelligent, app-controlled suspension tuning combined with ride height adjustability. You can switch between three vehicle-specific damper setups—Comfort, Sport, and Sport+—at the touch of a button, with changes happening in milliseconds. The Comfort mode is ideal for rough roads and automatically adjusts to sudden maneuvers, while Sport mode is suited for highway driving, and Sport+ provides a performance-oriented setup for twisty roads with significant load changes. The INOX-LINE stainless steel construction ensures permanent corrosion resistance, and the composite spring perches prevent oxidation while maximizing strength. Each damper is individually tested at KW's headquarters in Germany to ensure functionality and accuracy.

For even more customization, an optional DDC WLAN module can be added, allowing you to independently adjust dampers per axle and personalize your driving style via a smartphone or tablet app. This system allows you to upgrade your vehicle with an adaptive damper system, giving you control over the balance between performance and comfort.
