KW Coilover Kit DDC ECU VW Beetle (16) Hatchback

This KW DDC ECU coilover kit includes the KW INOX-LINE coilover suspension with stainless steel struts, electronically adjustable dampers, a high-performance electronic damper control unit with a vehicle-specific set of cables, and a KW DDC control button. You also get elastomer bump stops with integrated dust protection and composite spring perches. This system allows you to upgrade your Beetle with an adaptive damper system that you can control electronically, giving you the choice between performance and comfort tailored to your driving needs.

The KW DDC ECU system offers three distinct damper setups: Comfort, Sport, and Sport+. At the touch of a button, you can switch between these modes, and the adaptive dampers adjust within milliseconds. The Comfort mode is ideal for everyday driving, especially on rougher roads, and it automatically adjusts to sudden maneuvers. Sport mode is well-suited for highway driving with long curves, while Sport+ mode provides a very sporty, performance-oriented feel, perfect for spirited driving on twisty roads with significant load changes. The stainless steel construction of the Inox-line struts ensures they are 100 percent corrosion resistant, and the composite spring perches prevent oxidation while maintaining strength, making ride height adjustments easy and durable.

Each KW DDC ECU coilover kit is hand-built in Germany and given a unique serial number. Every damper is individually tested on a dyno to ensure it functions correctly and meets accuracy standards before it's released. For even more customization, an optional W-LAN module can be added, allowing you to adjust the adaptive dampers independently per axle and even store or share your custom presets via a smartphone or tablet app. The installation process is made easier with the included elaborate assembly instructions.
