The V1 kit features INOX-LINE stainless steel struts for permanent corrosion resistance, meaning you can adjust the ride height even after years of use thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoid thread and composite adjustment collar. The springs are also corrosion-resistant, and the kit includes elastomer bump stops with integrated dust protection to keep contaminants away from the piston rod and seals. KW engineers develop a specific damper setup and spring rate for each vehicle application, tested extensively on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in their 7-post chassis dynamics test center. This ensures an optimal balance of sportiness and practicality, reducing body roll for more direct and sporty handling.

Each coilover strut is hand-built at KW's headquarters in Fichtenberg, Germany, and receives an individual serial number. Every damper is dyno-tested before release to guarantee functionality and accuracy. The composite spring perches are made from wear-resistant, friction-optimized polyamide with a stainless-steel insert, preventing oxidation while maximizing strength.
