This kit is specifically tuned for the 2002-2006 Mini Cooper (R50, R52, R53) Hardtop and Convertible, including the Cooper S models, offering a balanced and sporty feel that enhances driving pleasure without sacrificing too much comfort.

KW engineers develop a specific damper setup and spring rate for each vehicle application, drawing on extensive testing at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and their 7-post chassis dynamics test center. This means you get a harmonious, pre-configured setup that reduces body roll for more direct and sporty handling. The composite spring perches are made from a wear-resistant, friction-optimized polyamide with a stainless-steel insert, preventing oxidation and maximizing strength.

This kit includes elastomer bump stops with integrated dust protection systems to keep dirt and water away from the piston rod and seals, contributing to long-lasting durability. Each coilover is hand-built in Germany and individually dyno-tested to ensure functionality and accuracy before it leaves the factory.
