The KW V3 Coilover kit uses patented TVR-A and TVC-A technology, allowing for independent adjustment of both rebound and compression damping. This means you can fine-tune how the suspension reacts to bumps and body movements separately, giving you precise control over your SLK55 AMG's handling. The system is built with Inox-Line stainless steel struts, which are permanently corrosion-resistant and designed to last, even when you're making adjustments. Each strut is also equipped with an elastomer bump stop that has an integrated dust protection system, keeping dirt and water away from the seals and piston rod for improved durability.

This coilover kit is developed using motorsports technology and manufactured in Germany. It significantly reduces pitching and rolling during load changes like cornering, braking, and evasive maneuvers, which can also shorten braking distances. The independent adjustment of compression and rebound damping allows you to tailor the setup to your specific driving style or any vehicle changes, such as weight or tire upgrades. For instance, you can increase low-speed compression damping to improve cornering grip and reduce squat without affecting the rebound damping, which is crucial for maintaining tire contact and overall performance. The composite spring perches are made from a wear-resistant, friction-optimized polyamide composite with a stainless-steel insert, preventing oxidation and ensuring strength.

Each KW V3 coilover set is hand-built and given a unique serial number at KW's headquarters in Fichtenberg, Germany. Before shipping, every damper is dyno-tested to ensure accuracy and preset to recommended settings.
