The KW V2 Comfort coilover kit uses INOX-LINE stainless steel construction, meaning the struts are 100 percent corrosion-resistant and built for a long lifespan, even with the dirt-resistant trapezoid threads and adjustable composite spring seats. This kit is designed for BMW 3 Series E46 models from 1999-2006, including Sedan, Coupe, Wagon, and Convertible body styles, specifically for 2WD vehicles. It aims to provide a sporty look and driving dynamics without sacrificing ride comfort, offering a compromise between performance and a comfortable daily drive.

This coilover system features KW's patented TVR-A (Twin Valve Rebound - Adjustable) technology, which allows for 16 precise clicks of adjustment for the rebound damping. This system uses a two-stage valve that controls oil flow differently at low and high damper speeds. At low speeds, a small amount of oil bypasses through an adjustable, conical valve, enhancing ride comfort. At higher speeds, the main rebound valve opens for improved body control, all without affecting the safety-critical high-speed range. This adjustability lets you tune the suspension to be either sportier or more comfortable, paired with vehicle-specific spring rates that have been precisely tuned by KW's engineers.

The KW V2 Comfort coilovers allow for a vehicle-specific lowering within a tested adjustment range of 10 to 40 mm. The composite spring perch, made from wear-resistant, friction-optimized polyamide with a stainless-steel insert, prevents oxidation and ensures the ride height can be adjusted even after many years. Each damper is hand-built at KW's headquarters in Fichtenberg, Germany, individually tested on a dyno, and given a unique serial number before shipping. This kit includes everything needed for installation, providing a seamless way to achieve a lowered stance and improved handling while prioritizing ride comfort.
