Built with a 1.77-inch (45mm) bore, this KYB Excel-G gas shock is designed to handle the demands of larger SUVs and crossovers. It’s a well-built replacement for the rear suspension on a wide range of vehicles, including the Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, and GMC Acadia. The gas-charged design helps maintain tire contact with the road, offering a more stable and comfortable ride compared to standard hydraulic shocks.

KYB’s Excel-G line uses a multi-lip oil seal to keep contaminants out and oil in, which helps ensure consistent performance over time. The valving is tuned to provide a balanced feel, absorbing road imperfections without feeling overly stiff.
