This tensioner is produced for serpentine belt routing applications and is made of high strength steel for improved life and durability. This tensioner has been redesigned from the original OE design to increase life and durability. The part features a premium chrome-silicon steel spring, internal damping, a "lift-lug" feature for ease of installation, Tandem 6303 ball bearings, a molded locator pin for precise installation, and a forged steel pulley.
