Therefore, the Litens aftermarket part may have minor cosmetic differences but still be exact in performance and design). G.M. purchased this tensioner from two different suppliers. The Litens aftermarket part is a direct replacement for either version. The Litens tensioner is designed with 2 molded location pins on the base to ensure precise installation and well as a new mounting bolt. Choosing The Correct Replacement Part: Both the original equipment and Litens aftermarket tensioner use a round spring versus a flat spring and are marked "Made in Canada.
