The Litens product meets or exceeds all original equipment form, fit, and function specifications for this Cadillac tensioner This tensioner was upgraded to increased performance and provide a longer service life. Included in the upgrade was a change in pulley material from plastic to steel. This tensioner maintains the integrated lift feature for ease of belt installation and removal. Note: Most Non-O.E. aftermarket suppliers of this tensioner have removed the critical internal damping components. Choosing The Correct Replacement Part: Both the original equipment and Litens aftermarket tensioner use a round spring versus a flat spring and are marked "Made in Canada".
