Lubegard CVT Recharge & Protect Fluid (10 oz)

LXE Liquid Wax Ester technology is the foundation of Lubegard's CVT Recharge and Protect, and it is what separates this additive from generic transmission supplements. The proprietary formula works by raising the thermal and oxidative stability of your existing CVT fluid, which helps slow down the degradation that causes noise, shudder, and belt slippage over time.

Continuously variable transmissions rely on precise friction between belts or chains and pulleys. As CVT fluid ages, the additive package breaks down and those friction characteristics change, sometimes causing a noticeable shudder, whine, or hesitation. Lubegard CVT Recharge and Protect addresses this by replenishing the anti-shudder and anti-wear components that the original fluid has lost. It also reduces foaming, which helps maintain proper fluid pressure and flow throughout the system. One 10-ounce bottle treats 6 to 10 quarts of CVT fluid at a ratio of about one ounce per quart.

For best results, add at the time of a fluid change or top-off. Allow up to 150 miles for the additive to fully circulate and show results. It is compatible with all CVT fluids and will not shrink or swell seals.
