This 24-ounce bottle contains a solvent-free additive with a polymeric film that renews worn bands to restore smooth engagement, while also conditioning seals to stop most leaks without the cost of a rebuild.
What sets this apart from some transmission additives is what it does not contain — no solvents that can break down seals further. Lucas designed the formula to lower operating temperatures and stop foaming, both of which contribute to transmission wear over time. It also extends fluid life up to three times longer, which means fewer fluid changes down the road. Compatible with all transmission fluids, you simply pour it into your existing fluid without draining anything out.
One bottle treats most passenger vehicles. For larger or severely worn transmissions, a second bottle may be needed. Note that this product is not recommended for CVT or dual-clutch transmissions.
