If your check engine light is on and you suspect a catalytic converter issue, this part is designed to get your emissions system back in compliance with Federal/EPA standards. Magnaflow uses high-strength 16-gauge 409 stainless steel for the tubing, which is very resistant to corrosion and built to last. The tubing is mandrel-bent to maintain the original design and geometry, and the compact, low-mass design helps with thermal efficiency. They use durable 308 stainless steel Mig welds and a single laser fusion weld that greatly reduces the chance of leaks. The OE-sized barbed exhaust hangers are also made from corrosion-resistant 410 stainless steel, and the included Torca AccuSeal exhaust clamp provides a strong, even clamp force.

This converter is designed as a direct fit, meaning no cutting or welding is needed for installation, making it a straightforward job with the right tools. Magnaflow includes all the necessary hardware to get the job done, like bolts, nuts, flange gaskets, and a Torca clamp. This converter is EPA compliant for Federal emissions systems but is not CARB approved, so it cannot be shipped to California.
